Giving the Gift of Hope

It was John’s wish that a charity be set up to treat cancers of the digestive system. Put bluntly, these are cancers from the throat through to the rectum. Last year, Farrah Fawcett passed away as a result of just such a cancer. Unlike her, digestive cancers are not well known, not often discussed and are difficult to diagnose. Such cancers grow very quickly in this environment. John Logan was not diagnosed until it was too late. He fought bravely for three years, before losing the battle.

The John Logan Foundation has been set up to raise funds to help find the treatments in the fight against these cancers. With all the approvals required by the Government, it is registered as a charity. It is administered by a team, which includes John’s sister Katherine and his brother, Mark, and a leading Melbourne Consultant Oncologist. Click Here to read more about John's life...
